In this 5 hour workshop we will explore text, Shakespeare on Saturday, Contemporary on Sunday, through using Laban movement analysis and clown technique.
In other words, Let's Get Physical!
Have you heard the body is where it’s at? When we can’t figure it out, the body can!
In this workshop we will explore physicality and play as a means to strip away our analytical mind and habitual patterns, so that we can access the truth of ourselves and the text.
Through clown technique you will learn how to let go of your self consciousness and instead drop into curiosity, play, and fearlessness.
Through Laban you will learn how to explore text through physicality and tap into realms you may not have known existed.
Laura and Lucy are so excited to bring you this combo, and can’t wait for you to experience a transformation in your work and relationship to using physicality to explore text.
